This year Keith reduced the medium market value assessment (Full Cash Value) of over 900,000 single family residences by 12.85%. Next year Keith will make a similar reduction. The only reason Keith was able to make two years of reductions in a row was because he changed the policy which was in place when he took office. This policy was revaluing residential properties every other year. Keith understood we were heading for a market correction and was prepared. (Sure it is more work, but making property taxes more fair and equitable is worth the effort).
